Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor

David Farragher - bass
Michael Urbano - drums
David Hidalgo - guitar
Mitchell Froom - keyboards
BG - guitar, voice

     How we may sing - still that silent
     Of dead was our holy water;
     Find us on the wheel of sorrow
     And here we go
     Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor.

     A time to refrain, but how to avoid?
     Away from this area, to wrest itself from the wires;
     A Rose LESPROMKhOZ and Mary Bird Wedding
     Ready to give all that is, for the ticket
     At the Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor.

     We know that the machine is completely normal;
     We know that there is no road, and there was never here;
     Close your eyes, not to see
     Crouching on the field faun;
     At the door knocks fallen from the sky star.
     Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor.

     Red kraplak and black soot;
     In the ancient ruins of the broken stuff in the train;
     Under the feet of passers - canvas Hermitage;
     Conductor totally deaf:
     Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor.

     How we may sing - still that silent;
     Therefore, the dead become our holy water;
     Starless night, I'll be waiting on the quay;
     We are in the beginning.
     Harvest Festival at the Palace of Labor.

     Came to drink water;
     Could not know her taste.
     Iron staples hammered into the wings,
     Source strangled gold dust -
     Close behind me; I hardly go back.

     You'll be in Moscow -
     beware of talking about the holy;
     Not that the meek as doves
     catch you,
     Sinless straddle you,
     Servants of love
     vobyut thee into the land of the cross.

     And blessed are the poor in spirit,
     question is removed.
     But those who have ears hear;
     Cover and holy.
     Senselessly against and beyond,
     Just something changed
     in your eyes;
     When the salt loses its strength,
     it becomes poison.

     Came to drink water;
     could not know her taste.
     Came to drink water;
     could not know her taste.
     Iron staples hammered into the wings,
     Source strangled gold dust.
     Closed behind me. I will not return.

     In our village feast
     Lit firmament
     On the ashes of the village council
     Girls dance in a circle;
     The Governor,
     plyashi;
     We have news, the governor,
     News for the body and soul.

     You thought - hush-hush,
     You thought - at the bottom of the knife,
     Prepay at Deutsche Bank,
     But the province is on fire;
     The Governor,
     how sweet smelling smoke
     Already a short time, the governor,
     It remains to stay young.

     Under the jacket from Brioni
     Tattoos on chest
     A dead journalists
     Without you even a dime a dozen,
     The Governor,
     Truby hang shelves;
     From the center, the governor,
     came signal
     to feed you to the wolves.

     Forget apartment in Nice
     Coming ninth wave;
     Late fuss,
     Lock the gun in the basement;
     The Governor,
     On zone teach - life is a fight;
     It is not late, the governor -
     But, however, think for yourself,
     The Lord is with you.

There was no such

David Farragher - bass
Andrew Bird - violin
Mitchell Froom - keyboards
BG - guitar, voice

     I know one song,
     flies without touching the ground;
     Summer does not burn it,
     January is not cool down;
     Want to scold her,
     want to praise -
     But there was no such will not.

     I know one song
     It tastes like fire
     try again
     Do not forget
     Used only enough force
     Himself return this gift
     There was such and never will.

     And in the dark alleys
     Angels tat
     And all my words washed away by rain;
     And echoed in the silence
     Barely:
     "My beloved, the breakdown ..."

     So be it: Yes means yes;
     From going to the bottom will not decrease;
     And in the sky above me all the same star;
     There was another and never will.

     Do not remember how we went over the threshold,
     But here's the heavy sky
     over the broken road
     At the end of which they lie,
     that we are promised peace;
     Above us deployed
     winter banner
     No individuals from those who oppose;
     persons from those who are with us;
     Do not you dare come until
     say - who you are.

     On the streets of rage
     roaring engine,
     Roll up the asphalt in the forest,
     wherein
     It was revealed that
     can not be said in words;
     I hear the work of spades;
     We aim at gun sunset
     But soon their ammunition
     will explode
     directly into the barrel.

     I feel
     how shadows are gathering around us;
     The river is burning
     and bridges over it are divorced;
     In His goodness
     God gives us what we wanted -
     Love Love Love:
     Love in the time of war.

     And I reach out a hand palm,
     But it's all the same
     that extinguish the fire with gasoline:
     Hand in hand into the abyss;
     I know this nonsense by heart;
     And I do not remember who he was,
     Do not know who was,
     But my blood
     Now stronger than steel.
     They firmly unlucky,
     when I wake up.

     I know the mind that there is around
     No ice, no snow storms;
     But I'm neck-deep in snow,
     my eyes do not see the spring;
     Lord, tell me - who we are,
     what we both wanted,
     To love, love, love -
     exclusively during the war.

     Nothing that has been stated, is not
     Was significant:
     we on the other side;
     Burnt house in shinkarevskom
     landscape
     No matter where it is important - still
     past;
     There was sadness, and this is not it,
     Getting lost on both sides
     spindle
     I'm almost at random pronouncing names -
     The reality remains
     unattainable.

     I opened all the doors
     homemade key
     I took without asking -
     what and how much;
     People can not agree
     together
     practically nothing;
     In the end, it is their business;
     I wanted everything at once, but otherwise - no;
     exemplary beggar
     at Galeries Lafayette;
     But I was looking at this thread
     forty-five years,
     In the end, she
     picked up and took off;

     As if we conceived
     During the war,
     We christened the names of guilt
     And when the words were reversed,
     We became invulnerable;
     As if something has moved
     in the Milky Way,
     Unslung his burden,
     eased in the chest -
     As if we finally
     left behind
     This endless winter ...

     Painted branches of lilac;
     Written leaves on the skin;
     Thus his last breath
     I will say: O Lord, my love, thank you
     For that I am honored to see you burn up in the flames of sunset,
     Never to return,
     Because you're not going anywhere;
     Just another one will have nowhere to go,
     Another one hand and in the garden over the river,
     Where to go on the wings of the cherubim,
     Because they were never given a name -
     And then everything in silence ...

     And tomorrow will be what it was before;
     Sacred union of heaven and earth;
     If you're lucky, catch a bullet teeth
     One only mows beauty without mercy;
     Because she holds court in the heart,
     Because it holds the path to the north,
     Where neither the time nor the explanations
     One only snow to the horizon.
     So even before one opens the sky
     With shining eyes from happiness,
     Your works, O Lord, are immortal
     And thy ways are inscrutable -
     And all lead to one side ...

     Write the word on the rock,
     Paint it the northern lights,
     Fill pigeon blood
     And forget all that it means;
     Pigeons take it to the sky,
     So high that it is no longer visible,
     And the heaven will split asunder,
     But this one does not know;
     And we will burn in the flames of sunset,
     To stay forever in the garden over the river,
     Because it
     our lips
     You once said, once and for all
     Holubyne word.

     If I go,
     who will be able to find me?
     But if I stay here,
     who can save me?

     You're close, but not here.
     You're beautiful, but you're innocent.
     Moon in my pupils.
     Raven over my shoulder.

     The window goes up,
     but fools dusk my house.
     Morning still far;
     nothing, we'll wait.

     I cant valiantly;
     Bad sign, a bad sign;
     Do not waste your breath on my name -
     I'll manage so.

     Those to whom I extend my hand,
     Stumble and go astray;
     I am the owner of this beautiful world,
     But I have nowhere to go in it.

     I go with a heavy heart;
     My path does not lead to the porch;
     Submitted to the Ministry
     Ways of Communication -
     This flight is about to end.

     Nonrepresentability severity starry vault
     And the time for so long that the pain is no longer a pain;
     We used to have wings, but we went into the water
     And our breathing became surf.
     Only at night, when the sky becomes higher
     And careless heart
     Want up -
     Remind us about the One that hears:
     Etoile de la Mer.

     Ave, Maris Stella,
     Dei Mater alma,
     atque semper virgo,
     felix coeli porta.

     Sumens illud "Ave"
     Gabrielis ore,
     funda nos in pace,
     mutans Evae nomen.

     Solve vincla reis,
     profer lumen caecis,
     mala nostra pelle,
     bona cuncta posce.

     Monstra te esse Matrem,
     sumat per te precem
     qui pro nobis natus
     tulit esse tuus.

The creation of the original hymn has been attributed to several people, including Bernard of Clairvaux (12th century), Saint Venantius Fortunatus (6th century) and Hermannus Contractus (11th century). The text is found in a 9th century manuscript in the Abbey of Saint Gall.
